The Team Teach approach helps to develop and enable services for children to develop acceptable and appropriate responses to serious incidents of ‘challenging’ behaviour, in a manner that helps to maintain positive relationships & safety for all.
Providing a framework to equip services & individuals with attitudes, skills and knowledge to facilitate environments that are free from fear and safe from harm.
Please note – Under new guidance, staff that require the refresher training and fail to attend would be required to attend a 2 day basic training course at a later date in order to continue using the Team Teach approach.
For those schools that wish nominated staff to attend the 2 day Basic Intermediate training courses, it is recommended that a minimum of 2 staff per school attend, with one being a member of the Senior Management Team.
It is also recommended that early booking is made – to avoid disappointment, as these courses are becoming evermore popular! and there are only a limited amount of places on each course.
Please note that failure to attend without notification within 10 working days will incur a £35 charge per person.
Those schools requiring ‘whole or part school in-house twilight’ training in the ‘De-escalation responses to Challenging Behaviour’ course should contact Ian Nicholson to arrange a suitable date.
